Pupils will be able to:

• gain a qualification in personal development and employability Skills.

Our chosen modules give students the chance to try lots of new things such as:

• learning new skills to help with meeting new people and building confidence

• improving knowledge and the ability to look after themselves and live a healthy life

• improve knowledge and skills which help them keep safe in the modern world

• develop skills to manage personal finances in future life

• writing the perfect CV to get ahead in their career choice.

Key Stage 4

Personal Development and Employability is well suited to being tailored to the individual needs of learners. Learners may complete a minimum of 2 units to gain a qualification. The Qualification is offered at Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2 and can be completed in a timescale that suits your learners’ pace of learning.

Awarding body The Prince’s Trust (Equivalency certification CCEA – Level 2 Awards equivalent to two B’s)

The Prince’s Trust Award in Personal Development and Employability helps learners to build their own self-confidence and skills set which helps prepare them for the world of work. These include skills such as teamwork, customer experience, digital skills, career planning, personal finance and wellbeing.
