Aims
Pupils will be able to:

Our chosen modules give students the chance to try lots of new things such as:
learning new skills to help with meeting new people and building confidence
improving knowledge and the ability to look after themselves and live a healthy life
improve knowledge and skills which help them keep safe in the modern world
develop skills to manage personal finances in future life
writing the perfect CV to get ahead in their career choice.
Key Stage 4
Personal Development and Employability is well suited to being tailored to the individual needs of learners. Learners may complete a minimum of 2 units to gain a qualification. The Qualification is offered at Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2 and can be completed in a timescale that suits your learners’ pace of learning.
Awarding body The Prince’s Trust (Equivalency certification CCEA – Level 2 Awards equivalent to two B’s)

Please note, some students may complete the course at Level 1 or Entry Level.
Careers
The Prince’s Trust Award in Personal Development and Employability helps learners to build their own self-confidence and skills set which helps prepare them for the world of work. These include skills such as teamwork, customer experience, digital skills, career planning, personal finance and wellbeing.
